Les années Parisiennes
1990 Jana Bednarkova immigrated to France and began a new life absorbing the western culture. While taking art classes at the University of Applied Arts, Paris she was granted a ten-month scholarship and a studio space, sponsored by the French government, at the Cité Internationale des Arts.
1992 - 2000 Jana worked in various ceramics studios in Paris and traveled to Japan and Korea. Her work focused on stoneware ceramics sculpture.
